  • Dolphins can dive as deep as 3000 feet (915 meters).

  • They can reach swimming speeds of up to 22 miles (35 kilometers) an hour.

  • Wild dolphins live for at least 40 years.

  • The largest member of the dolphin family is the orca, also known as the killer whale.
