Race & Class Training for Mentors
Welcome to our Kids Hope Academy! We know you want to make a positive difference in the life of your child. These resources were developed to help you maximize your positive impact as a mentor, and help prevent (unintentional) harm to the relationship. We believe that as mentors we always have learning and growing to do in order to better serve our kids and their families. This video, and the modules following it, will help you go deeper as you educate yourself, show up for your mentoring sessions, and self-reflect! When those three things are combined with prayer and community, the possibility for transformation is compounded in both your life, and your mentees. Thank you for being here and committing to this learning and growing process. It’s hard work, but we believe you’ll find it both helpful and worthwhile.
